About the Artist

Nora Zang is a contemporary artist whose work investigates the relationship between color, symbolism, and human experience. Influenced by visual languages associated with pop art, street art, and expressionism, her paintings are characterized by vibrant chromatic intensity and a dynamic painterly approach that merges contemporary iconography with mythic and archetypal imagery.
Working primarily through intuitive and expressive processes, Zang develops compositions in which color, gesture, and symbolic form interact to create multilayered visual narratives. Her works often engage with existential and ontological questions, reflecting on the idea of a primal energy that connects all living beings. Through this visual language, her paintings open symbolic spaces where emotion, collective imagery, and contemporary culture intersect.
Zang holds a degree in Art Therapy from Alanus University, an experience that deepened her understanding of the transformative and connective potential of artistic expression. Alongside her studio practice, she is involved in initiatives that promote mental health and participates in creative volunteer projects that explore art as a space for reflection, dialogue, and human connection.
